Here are few recommendations in SharePoint.
1. Do not develop in Production Server. For learning Microsoft Virtual Labs is the best.
I was trying to publish a SharePoint Report with SharePoint List to a Document Library in SharePoint in Visual Studio and all the pages of Lists like "AllItems.aspx" broke.
